This song is about the Russian space mission Voskhod 2 from March 1965. SO many things went sideways right from the start it was a miracle anybody got home alive. You wouldn't believe the troubles, it sounds like a parody:
The title "Voskhod Also Rans" implies that the backup astronauts (the "also rans") would have probably died, and only these 2 stone-cold heroes could have overcame the obstacles and lived.
lyrics
Leonov, the broadcast is gone
Our troubles are endless
And that didn't take long, the pressure is wrong
You've got to bleed the suit to have hope
And nobody knows
The Diamond shines on
Systems have failed, we'll tumble as we fall
From the sky, to the ground
To the sky, to the ground
To the sky, to the ground
With the bears and the wolves, a stone-age is born

one of the most brutal and relentless albums i've ever heard. it's as if someone is yelling at the top of their lungs in your face for twenty eight minutes, and it's beautiful. it's so crushing and heavy, i honestly can't get enough. hellokittysatan
